 Jailbroken iPod Touch or iPhone : What do you do next??


Once you have followed the instructions here to Jailbreak Your iPod Touch with 1.1.4, you will have some necessary items to complete.  If you do not do the following you will be stuck with error messages like the one below, “Error – Package download failed”.

How To Jailbreak 1.1.4 iPod Touch :


We are going to outline the way to jailbreak your iPod Touch.  Below you will notice a photo of our iPod Touch with the Installer application.

Please have no other programs open other than iTunes and your Internet browser if necessary. 

In order to jailbreak without any issues we are going to restore our iPod Touch to 1.1.4.  So we hold the Option button down and click the Restore button (Hold Shift and click Restore on a Windows PC).  This will bring up the different versions available.  If you do not have 1.1.4, click here to download it.
