To access the library you can do it in one of two ways.

Once in the library, you will have options to:

| These options make it extremely easy to share and transport your bookmarks from machine to machine. Additionally, the export to HTML, which was a carry over from previous versions, is great if you have a personal website and want to have your bookmarks available across the internet from various machines. For some people that haven't heard of JSON, its more or less the a 'super' dataset that is fast, lightweight and portable. For the non technical people, this evolving technology is super cool. New software and web developments are choosing this over XML as a choice of holding data. This can be seen first hand in many Google Map/Earth AJAX Based website applications. |

How to add a bookmark |
Adding bookmarks (aka Favorites) is still performed the same easy way as in prior versions. When saving a bookmark you'll be presented to:

| Tags, mentioned above, is a new option that will allow for better organization as well as to label the content in your own words. If this page was found in a result of a search engine search, a good idea is to use the keywords you searched on as the tags. |

| As you add new tags, automatically these new tags will be added to window where you can check/select the relevant tag to new bookmarks. This new feature is just one of the many features that the backend DB empowers us to do. Firefox is continuing improve in all areas of web browsing. Prior to some practical issues, I read and learned the theory. There is a good article in wiwapia.com - http://wiwapia.com/en/linux . Afterwards everything becomes easier.

I admit, I have not been on this webpage in a long time... however it was another joy to see It is such an important topic and ignored by so many, even professionals. I thank you to help making people more aware of possible issues.

Oscot, thanks so much for writing this article. I agree that Firefox is a superior web browser. I am not a computer person and dont know all of the nuisances of the browser yet since I just recently downloaded this, but the bookmarks are really user friendly and work better than that of Internet explorer, which I used to use. Looking forward to reading more info-- thanks!
