| Along with the hardware decisions, apple has changed it case design to make its manufacturing more efficient and even added a glass touchpad that resembles the iTouch/iPhone. The touch pad does not have a button as the surface is clickable like the iTouch/iPhone and will encompass new functions using multiple fingers to accomplish desired tasks. The case design is carved from a single piece of aluminum, so as to, result in lighter, more rigid notebook frames than building them the old way with multiple parts. |

The “starting at”configurations are as follows: |
13 inch MacBook: 2.0GHz • Intel Core 2 Duo • 2GB DDR3 Memory • 160GB hard drive1 • NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics $1299.00 |
15 inch MacBook Pro: 2.4GHz |
17 inch MacBook Pro: 2.5GHz |
| All things aside, we are fans of the newly designed case and may consider upgrading, but can’t really justify it just yet. Our MacBook Pro, is the 17inch Display with full HD screen (non-glossy); using the 2.4 Intel Core 2 duo, 320 GB hard drive, with 4 Gb of memory pushing processes along quite comfortably and quickly. You will see an article soon on how to take your MacBook Pro apart and replace case elements. We had the unpleasant surprise of dropping it on its side. While no components were damaged, the case took a beating and we found some bargains on Ebay for case replacement parts. Stay tuned! |
