Please can anyone do anything to help me?!?!?!?! Last night i tried to jailbreak my itouch, but it just froze up on the black screen with the little white box in the top left corner. After 6 hours of waiting for it to change, i deconnected it. Now it says "IoIpodUSBDevice : :start IpodStack can't start! Need configuration" somebody do something!!!! - greenmirage

it worked for my 16 g first try, but even on the other version when i got it to work my itouch would freeze and crash and just freeze a lot when it was jailbroken... i ended up restoring it. It was really bad. at one point it just stayed at the apple logo and shut off. - chad

That's ok Ricardo I did a little research and I found a little program something like Ziphone,but this one is called iJailbreak and it worked the first try wow!,I counld'nt even believe a 13 year old kid came up with the idea for iJailbreak even the whole jailbreaking idea that kid is a genus I had to donate to his program.I'm sorry I had to delete Ziphone from my whole computer it was not working at all and I did everything you said, but thanks for making a program like Ziphone if it wasnt for Ziphone I wouldnt have came across ijailbreak! - Gemini

Thanks again Ricardo but still no luck with the mail,notes, maps and stock apps. I tried to clear NVRAM settings two times is there a way you can just install them,because everything else is working fine. - Gemini

If you have successfully Jailbroken your iPod Touch and do not see the applications there there are some options to try. Clear the NVRAM and try to jailbreak your iPod from the beginning again. If you still have problems, let us know here. - Ricardo

Hello first I want to say thank you for making it easier to jailbreak my ipod,I have been waiting for a reliable way to do it every sence this jailbreaking started,your way is the only and first way I have tried, done and succeeded the other ways didnt seem to had much luck.Everything worked great, but I did not get the original apps like mail,notes stocks,ect.It appears in poof to be hidden or unhidden but it is not seen on my summerboard nor is it in my install listings. - Gemini
