The wrench icon at the top right of the program window will bring up the Preferences section, where you can adjust certain if not all settings of the HP Advisor to suit your individual needs.
The initial screen is General Settings, which provides you with self-explanatory options for the HP Total Care Advisor program.

HP Updates is the second option:
